Amber Shriver (School Director): Amber studied ballet at Tami Gees Studio of Dance in Westminster, MD; at the Boston Conservatory in Boston, MA; at Butler University in Indianapolis, IN; at the Orlando Ballet School in Orlando, FL; at the Maryland Youth Ballet in Silver Spring, MD, and at Next Generation Ballet in Tampa, FL. She has been teaching ballet to children ages 3-18 for 10 years and has served as the Artistic Director of Connect the Dots Dance Company for 7 years.
Robyn Lindsey (Stoddert and Jewish Community Center Campus Director): Robyn studied Choreography and Performance at John Hopkins University in Liverpool, England. After receiving her B.A., she trained and taught in London, Ohio and Texas before moving to Maryland in 2013. She teaches Ballet, Modern, Hip Hop, Jazz and Ballroom and Latin dancing as well as Circus Skills and Pilates. She has 12 years experience working with to children from age 2 through to adults. This is Robyn's first year with Connect the Dots and she is excited to offer her expertise to their program.
Gabrielle Welsh (College Park and National Cathedral School Campus Director): Gabrielle grew up in Baltimore, MD and trained at the Moving Company Dance Center in the styles of modern, jazz, and ballet. She is currently at the University of Maryland, pursuing a double degree in Dance and Biology. She has worked with Pearson/Widrig Dance Theater, Connect the Dots Dance Company, and been in productions at the University of Maryland including: My Tempest, Collidescope, The Shared Graduate Dance Concert, Rapture, and From the Stoop. Gabrielle had also attended Bates Dance Festival, the American Dance Festival, and intensives with Doug Varone and Company.
