Amber Shriver (School Director): Amber grew up in Westminster, MD and studied ballet at Tami Gees Studio of Dance and State of the Arts Dance Studio. She has attended summer intensives at the Boston Conservatory, the Orlando Ballet School, and at Next Generation Ballet in Tampa, FL. She has been teaching ballet with Connect the Dots for 8 years, and has served as the Artistic Director of Connect the Dots for 8 years.
Gabrielle Welsh (College Park Campus Director): Gabrielle grew up in Baltimore, MD and trained at the Moving Company Dance Center. She holds a Bachelors of the Arts degree in Dance from the University of Maryland. She has been in productions with Pearson/Widrig Dance Theater and the University of Maryland including: My Tempest, Collidescope, The Shared Graduate Dance Concert, Rapture, and From the Stoop. Gabrielle had also attended Bates Dance Festival, the American Dance Festival, and intensives with Doug Varone and Company. She has been teaching ballet with Connect the Dots for 4 years and has served as the College Park Campus director for 3 years.
Samantha Ellis (College Park Campus Instructor): Samantha grew up in New Jersey and trained at Ms. Laura's Dance Studio. She is a senior at the University of Maryland, and is currently studying microbiology and global poverty. She has trained in ballet, pointe, lyrical, hip hop, jazz and musical theater. She has been teaching ballet with Connect the Dots for 2 years.
Alexandria Hickey (Balance Gym Campus Instructor): Alexandria grew up in Burlington, CT and trained at Nutmeg Conservatory and Ms. Porter's School. She is a junior at American University where she is majoring in International Relations and Arabic. She has trained in classical ballet for 15 years. She has also trained in modern, jazz, and tap. She has been teaching ballet with Connect the Dots for 3 years.
